As one of the newest HOPE worldwide Canada chapters, we are excited and ready to bring hope and change lives in our community!!
Calgary’s chapter is made up of a diverse group of volunteers from all over Canada and the world, and we are looking to provide a variety of services throughout Calgary. Some of the projects we focused on in our first year include:
- Community Clean-up programs, painting fences and planting community gardens;
- Supporting long-term
- Fundraising to serve at the Centers of HOPE Philippines;
- Supporting Calgary Food Bank in it’s mission to fight hunger (moving an average of 5 1/2 tons of food and impacting 750 families each shift); and
- Providing hope by adopting families, delivering food hampers and bringing moments of joy to people in hospital or away from their families during special holidays, like Christmas.
Our fundraising will help support these programs and as we grow our Chapter we will expand our services to other programs throughout Calgary and HOPE Centers around the world. Come volunteer with us!
